For those who didn’t pay attention during History class, Hitler had a universal draft - exemptions only if your family had pull enough to get you a “soft” assignment. The Hitler Jugend - Hitler Youth were indoctrinated and were quickly swallowed up into the Wehrmacht when things started going south in Russia.

Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking everyone was a NAZI, most of them were trying to survive an incredibly brutal regime. The GESTAPO shot people for trivial offenses just to keep everyone in line. Few of us who live in the wonderful USofA have any idea of what real terror is.
You need to live offshore, not in the military, to realize what taking your ass in your hands means. No habeas corpus, investigative detention - can last years...

The myth of the clean Wehrmacht is exactly what it is. A myth. A meme was posted of a Nazi amongst the very people he was trying to kill, and that picture is being defended. I don't know how things are in Texas, but in the America I live in, we killed Nazis.
