I always envisioned a post from 4-6" well casing set in concrete at least 3-4'.Start at ground level and angling upward on each side would be 18=24" of pointed large rebar to deter those who would try to push it over (radiator fixings). A mailbox of 1/2" steel plate for the ball bats. All welded together. Let the grass grow beside the box to cover the rebar.

Looks like seamless tubing for seabed installation. Cameron used to make it by ramming 10-40 ton white hot ingots through a tubing mandrel. I think Hitachi owns the plant now. Seriously cool to watch!
