Back in the day when I was commuting into DC on New York Avenue, there was supposed to be no parking after 6am, and some moron would not have moved his vehicle, and we would all get backed up going three lanes to two. I often wished something like this would come along. No one would've convicted him.

I was one of those morons - in a rental, on vacation.

I loved New York Avenue in DC! One week out of five, I would drive that street about 0330 and I would stop at Checkers to get a couple of burgers for breakfast. I did not (and still don't) do drive throughs so I would get in line with the hookers, druggies, drug dealers, and so forth. Never had a problem especially once they "knew" me.
