I've been one to mention a variation on this message, but generally it falls on, if not 'deaf ears', no one acknowledges their imminent demise...too painful to think their 'carcasses' will be long gone in a very few years.
Yeah, I can see us here in 400 years - but how about 10,000 or 100,000 or 100.0000 or beyond, it will happen...slowly of course, but inevitably.

My wife is doing a geneology study of her family which attests to the fact that we're here for the briefest moment.
She keeps finding family members from 500 hundred years ago and dammit, they're all dead..;.
