We live in S.E. Oklahoma. For years I refused to turn on the air conditioner until July 4 or the heat on until Thanksgiving. The only exceptions were for guests, visiting Grandchildren, or my Dogs if they got too hot in the Summer. About four years ago our water heater malfunctioned in early August and I didn’t fix it until around November 10. My Wife and I were taking cold showers. She complained some but put up with it until I was ready to fix it. I hate spending money for heating and cooling. People need to acclimate.....
