That's not my tattoo.Gettin' worried about you.
I'm that guy LOL..I have celiac disease.
It irritates me that people choose to not eat wheat or gluten.
Why the hell would anyone choose that? It's a PITA.

What's bad is the restaurant industry seems to have been wrongly 'trained' by the .. uhh .. fluffier clientele to believe that a "no wheat" or "gluten free" request means they think it's magically diet food and will make them skinny. So what you get is something CLAIMED to be gluten/wheat free but probably isn't. My youngest has a few food allergies, and I've gotten used to educating the restaurants about how wheat contains more proteins than just gluten, and gluten isn't the protein my kid is allergic to - so I need to be certain that it is in fact wheat free. Wheat isn't the worst (hives), but it sucks when your 3 year old claws his skin until he looks like crime scene. Some restauranteurs are really oblivious though, my boy's most severe allergy is milk/dairy (anaphylaxis), and he'll often still get cheese on his plate. The confused looks on the servers' faces is a little worrisome, but if you walk them through it slowly the light eventually goes on. Steroid creams and Epinephrine on standby just in case.I'm that guy LOL..I have celiac disease.

Flour is full of insulin spiking carbs so I try to avoid it, but I don't have violent reactions to it like people with legitimate allergies. Maybe that's what your co-worker was thinking with the cheat day thingIt irritates me that people choose to not eat wheat or gluten.
