Depends on the denomination. Binion's Horseshoe in Vegas, not sure if it still does have it, had a stack of $1,000 bills showing $1,000,000, that if I remember right, were about a third that size.
I seem to remember it in stacks of $1,000 bills, I could be wrong, it was a long time ago, and it was also bullet proof glass. I asked.When I saw it back in the '70s it was 100 $10,000 bills sandwiched between 2 pieces of glass.
The government printed $10,000 and $100,000 bills for inter-government use and it was never supposed to be released for public use. I don't know how Ben got his hands on it.
