So I've been selling off my old toys on eBay (and making some pretty good money on them) and figured I'd share some of the beauty shots here. After all, half of marketing is making the product look good, right?
I don’t know how you did it.
My toys were always beat to hell, broken, ‘sploded with firecrackers, melted with magnifying glass, handed down to younger siblings, etc. LoL
My Mom never took my collections seriously back in the 1950’s. She discarded Baseball Cards, Aeroplane Cards, Toy Soldiers, Model Ships, Fossils of Shells and Small Fish that I’d collected in sand pits and stream banks on Long Island. After I went into the Marines in 1966, my younger Brothers disposed of my old coins to buy Ice Cream Bars when the trucks came by in the summer. They eradicated Copper Indian Head Pennies and Old Silver US Coins from all the way back to the 1800s given to me by my Grandparents, Uncles and other old folks when they heard I was interested in them. Water under the bridge.
