You probably know, but some might not. That is not a racoon, its a Ring-tailed Cat (not really a cat)Buddy has 2 outside German Shepherds. Their house is surrounded by a deep porch - and sho-nuff those dogs “treed” a raccoon up one of the porch columns (a 6x6 rough cedar pole). This was early one evening. Next morning that ‘coon was still hanging onto the pole, the dogs camped out at the base of it.!!
Buddy finally called his dogs away, wife from inside confirms one very stiff ‘coon came right down and staggered off into the woods.

A corn field just north of I-80 west of Lincoln, NE.
I'm not saying it isn't, the ark had a long voyage in small quarters...I was wondering what that was. Looked like some kind of Alabama inbred coon. =)
