I tried to scroll past quickly but caught a glimpse and retched.

Our legion building is an Old firehouse. When we tried to get a sign permit they denied it because we did not have an occupancy permit. We tried to get one and the fire marshall made make so many changes that we have been out of the building for a year.
They must have never inspected it when it was a firehouse or they are exempt.
