    I'd shoot it.

    Yeah, but what is the appropriate caliber to put that poor 1911 out of it's "speed hole" filled misery? I think a quick and relatively painless death calls for a minimum of .338. Maybe .50BMG just to be sure. I would hate to see it suffer and just get all dented up more by someone shooting it with .223 or 7.62 stuff...

    God, I just noticed the "Medicare Supplement Plans" thing under that poor 1911 - this appears to have been done by some mentally addled boomer. Or maybe his grand son did this shit, and he's trying to sell it off in case there's a miracle worker out there who has the time, patience, and money to fix this because he couldn't bear to see a 1911 get melted or chopped up.
