Does anyone in the north Austin area have muzzle and throat erosion gauges for the M1 Garand? I'd like to gauge mine just for shits and giggles.

You can use a 30-06 bullet to roughly gauge the muzzle. Need the tool for throat erosion. If you can't find one to borrow, try the CMP website, or Brownells. I don't think they are very expensive.
