Ok the 1911 is ww1 at least the frame is but the more I’m reading the slide is/could be just as old. Slide is a Remington UMC with colt pat numbers stamped all over.

It’s been buffed and reblued old gi grips
Put it on layaway. Frame is a ww1 Calvary.

The Glock is a well? A gen 1 not much wear on it. Very productive day.

If it says Remington UMC (rather than Remington Rand which was WW2) then it's late WW1 production and only about 20,000 of these were made.

What makes it a Cavalry frame?

Have you checked the serial number with Colt? https://www.colt.com/serial-lookup

    This is great!
Disassembly is a breeze no hang ups.

I can’t remember how many commercial made 1911s I’ve struggled with trying to get them back in running condition and or
    Just simply reassembled.

    Well let’s see

    Kimber
Taurus barrel bushing wouldn’t line up.
New Remington wasn’t bad but kind of
Springfield gi junk the slide would jam on reassembly.
    Rock island

The only other two I’m happy with are the old colt gi model and ruger.
