There is a guy on Sig Forum that recently posted photos of his CMMG bargain bin rifle. The thing looks brand new and he said it shot great.

This is a total steal for that price. Throw in a cheap Magpul rear sight for 60 bucks and you have a decent rifle for under 700 bucks.

I am very tempted to get one...

thats more like it,thats all ARs are worth anyways....all these ridiculous greedy dealers sticking it to customers for the last year suck. ARs double as a nice club when they don't work though :) my AK probably won't ever have to double as a club though! hahah JK i like ARs too although i prefer that they go to a piston system

Don't necessarily blame the "greedy dealers" - in many cases, they were caught in an environment where they were having to pay more. Demand was WAY up, supply was low - and shops desperate to get inventory were offering higher prices. It's not always a gouging situation, guys!!!

i think its silly to charge dealers more because the manufacturer is having trouble keeping up. if they're building it that fast they're more likely to have problems....like cars made on a friday. usually fast=sloppy,i could understand if they were very low production high end custom guns but not just regular old ARs
