I rented a Glock 42 a few years ago & liked it. To compare I also rented a S&W Bodyguard 380, Remington RM380 & compared my Beretta Pico 380 also. All were DAO except the Glock. I shot the Glock best, mainly because it's a little bigger & has a shorter, lighter trigger.

This may not surprise some of you but I like the 42. I use it as a backup in an ankle holster

The only 380 I have fired and like better is the Kimber Raptor 380.
Took my LTC with my 42 right out of the box and maxed the test.

Just curious, why 380 over 9 if you’re going with that firearm? The 43 is almost identical in size.
Make girls feel a little safer. Got my wife a Ruger lc380. After she masters it I'll get her a 9mm conversion for it. Though she did shoot my g48 and liked it.

I would recommend the Kahr CT380 over the G42 if you're going .380. Smaller, thinner, higher capacity, low recoil, and cheaper.

(Have fired both, in addition to a number of other .380s. I would still go with Kahr on this.)

Used to have a G42 but had to get rid of it. The slide would slice the top of my fatboy hands. It would probably be fine if you have normal hands, just didn't fit me.
