How do them thar fancy pistol shoot?
Do they cycle good?
How many rounds did it take to break them in?
No target pics?
Ya got a Coonan tucked away somewhere? The Colt set runs like a dream, both the .380 and .45. The 1918 - tack driving machine (since it was built as a comp gun, that's to be expected. Sorry - I don't keep targets. I know what the gun can do in my hands - that's all that matters to me.

Interesting. Always wanted one but not willing To jump unless I have first hand reliability data. I think the concept and story about how it came to be is really cool.Used to. Didn't like it - one of the few I've ever sold.

I don't get all the commemerative ones, not my cup of tea, but @TexasRedneck, a tip of the hat for some cool, unique pieces.
pretty sexy looking operatorWe all know and love the 1911, as any good, red-blooded, American should! Feel free to show yours off. Post your pics as well as details on mods and accessories so we can organize all of that greatness in one place!
I'll start things off. Something I wish I never sold, but you know how the story goes. A Springfield Loaded Operator, I think. Never quite figured out the story on it. Didn't have a TRP slide, though it did have "Tactical" on the frame, so might have been a frankenstein build by the LE armorer it came from. Either way, it shot great, extracted and ejected like a sewing machine, and carried nicely, if only for a brief period of time.
