The above describes the sad state of journalism today. Very little is researched before it is presented to the public.

Used to be that those in the field were called, and they still are, investigative reporters, but in the rush to get news out actual investigation is overlooked. Speculation has now replaced real journalism.

The appearance for anti-gunners agenda is much better if he was legally carrying a gun.

Or, better yet, he was doing so in some official capacity, it's better for a cop or security guard to have a gun, but heaven forbid the average Joe.

I noticed in the Tennessee Waffle House incident the shooter was disarmed by an armed citizen. Under such circumstances, I doubt I would make any effort to disarm a shooter unless it was by putting rounds into him/her.

Yep... Especially since it's clear they had just shot other people.
