When I'm advising clients on transforming parts of their organizations we spend a good deal of time on communications. Whether or not we like it, we NEED to explain ourselves with more than rhetoric and hubris.
We need to win over people who don't think like us right now. The words we choose matter, and the words that work for us may not be the same words that work for others. Some of us need coaching on the right words, and some of us know that we just aren't great at articulating our points and want to direct people to a resource.
Its important that we connect with people in a way that resonates with THEM not US.
We are the 2nd amendment ambassadors. I thought it would be worthwhile to compile a centralized list of resources to help ourselves think through talking points BEFORE we engage in those conversations. Different videos and materials may also resonate with different types of people you know. Please post up any resources you think have good information or appeal to different groups so we can all refer to them.
I'll try to add any additions to this initial post to keep it in one spot.
