I love this story. NY had a gun buy back so a guy took his 300 dollar 3D printer and printed up a crap load of useless guns and turned them in for over 20 grand in cash cards. I wonder if they will try to prosecute him or cancel the cards or screw him some other way down the road.

This guy is either really stupid, or has a massive pair of brass balls to attempt something like this. He took 60 3D printed "Yankee Boogles" (AR autosears) to a gun buyback in NY and walked away with $21,000.

I imagine neither the police, or the state government were too happy. :green:

Yeah, I applaud him for his entrepreneurship, but the risk was sky high carrying around 60 unregistered devices that they could easily prove were created by him...

The police department had promised amnesty for the devices turned in.

True, I think most of these events are "no questions asked".

But technically if an AFT agent were there observing any of these buy backs, what's to stop them from charging him with say 60 counts of violating the NFA?

Such an action by an atf agent would be the death of the liberal's gun buybacks.

Word of that would get out, and the next buy back would yield zero guns bought.
