"GUN CONTROL" Explained
Are you confused? It is very easy to be confused.
We have two basic sets of people in the USA. One group sees citizens as incompetents, who must be told what to do; by them. These seek laws and regulations to force the unwilling of us to bow to their commands. These are the same ones who feel that it is the job of our government to house, feed, & entertain us; and, take care of our "health".
The other group believes in the dignity and sanctity of the INDIVIDUAL, who can and SHOULD take care of himself and his own, without outside interference. We are constitutionalists, who seek to honor the Bill of Rights; ALL of those RIGHTS !
"Crime" Control" is the mantra of those wishing for PEOPLE control.
But, over 96% of criminal acts with firearms use pistols. Less than 2% employ long guns of any kind, and less than one in a thousand involves "assault rifles" or pseudo-assault rifles.
So, just WHY are the statists so interested in taking our rifles away, anyway ? The reason for this exposes their big LIE.
Look at any modern nation which has restricted firearms, especially handguns, and you will see quick and persistent spikes in the rates of all types of violent crimes, including "gun crimes" How can this be ? Simple: CRIMINALS, by definition, don't obey laws. Check the stats on Britain and Australia.
And, why are statists so interested in our rifles ? Simple, a people armed with handguns and shotguns simply can't resist governmental force. But, the American people, with over 30 million riflemen, and another 30 million potential riflemen, already equipped and trained by virtue of military service or hunting experience, present an insurmountable obstacle to those who would force their will on us through treacherous governmental misuse of military or paramilitary force.
This is the same reason that Admiral Yamamoto told the Japanese Emperor and Tojo not to attempt an invasion of the mainland USA in 1942; in his own words: "There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass!"
So, it boils down to this: With rifles, we are a truly FREE people. Without rifles, we would become subjects of the despots who seem to thrive in Washington, D.C.
I hope this makes it clear, very clear !
