Can I donate an AR to a charity auction? I am sure it would have to go threw a FFL. Anyone know any rules or laws about this?

I wouldn't donate a Home Built too much liability, personally I would put the Money toward the purchase at a preferred FFL Dealer and make up some kind of gift certificate to bid on

    Yes you can.
It's best if it does go thru a FFL.
There are not a lot of rules about selling personal property. The exception being if you are buying the gun for yourself or someone else...

Consider another gun choice. Henry 22 or a pump shotgun. Both are big hits with a raffle. The AR is not because if you like them chances are you already have plenty.
