i won an auction for a Thompson Center .50 cal muzzleloader on gunbroker.com

the seller wants me to send the money order along with a copy of my drivers license to show proof of age. I'm not comfortable letting go of a copy of my DL at all....i asked him if he would send it to an FFL (i also bought a Springfield 1903 A3 on gunbroker and am using an FFL).

This dealer plans to ship it via UPS - which is fine i guess

am i making a big deal out of nothing? he has a good feedback rating

I guess I've led a protected life, never heard that term (redact) before. Had to google it Good idea.
