Do any of y'all have a preferred or recommended place to purchase handgun magazines? Online or local.

I have purchased from Midway USA, Natchez Shooters Supply, and even Academy.

If you have a gun show coming soon check there too. I have purchased the most at gun shows.

    Gunz are icky.
I usually buy from on-line sources.
Midway USA, Brownell's, Natchez, TripleK, CDNN, Buds, Grab-a-gun, Wholesale Hunter, Numrich(aka Gun Parts Corp), etc.

Gunshows are ok for modern popular types but if you're hunting for something like a Baby Nambu mag you're wasting your time.

    Magazines for which guns?

    I specifically need a 15rnd magazine for an H&K USP 9mm.

But I was also wondering if anybody had a preferred business to purchase from.

Something like, "Magazines-R-US, where all magazines are OEM, 1/2 price and shipping is always free!" Lol

I was seriously confused at why you would waste money on handgun magazines when you can read them for free. I feel stupid now.

Moonpie's list is good, as are the others. Try ammoclip.com too. I have found some weird ones there on occasion. Sometimes cheaper than other places.

I don't typically buy a several different brands of magazines at the same time, so I usually just use google to find the cheapest place to buy them. Midway USA, Midsouth Shooters Supply, and Brownells are the most common results for me.

Hate to sound so cheap... But has anyone tried a company called KY imports?

I bought some 10 Rd mags for my Ruger 9mm and my mini 14 when I lived in California (about 10 years ago).

I also bought some "30 round" mags from them which turned out to actually hold 37 rounds each. They are made by national magazine and they have been flawless through at least 2000 rounds so far.

I check them out. They only had 10 round magazines for the model I need it for. (Looking for 15rnd)

Thanks for the info though. I'll check them out for other stuff.

Well other than that, I second what Maverick said. I pretty much Google it and figure out who is cheaper if I'm buying more than 1.

I have my eye out all the time though so if I see one I can use for less than normal retail price I jump on it. Picked up used 2 mags for my 709 like this. 2 for less than the price of 1 new one.

I would try CDNN first for USP mags. They were the cheapest for my USP 40. They wanted $30 when everyone else wanted $40-$50 for the same.

My usual mag store is Greg Cote LLC. Their prices are great plus the shipping is quick and cheap.
