Nice Job!A customer wanted me to parkerize his well worn 1911........has been his competition pistol for 20+ years and most every part has been changed except the slide, frame and sights.....
Definitely no collector value, so I agreed to do it......turned out rather well, I think......I ps'd the serial#....Coming to pick it up tomorrow........he will be surprised that I am not charging him.....he actually let me practice on his Colt!

Don't know how to tell you this but,......your gun is falling apart!!!!
Very nice indeed!Well I wanted a new 1911 and couldn't make up my mind between the Remington 1911 Enhanced Stainless Steel .45 ACP or the Springfield Armory 1911-A1 Loaded .45 ACP Stainless Steel. So I bought one of each! The Remington came in today. Springfield is on its way.

Oh you know how it is, if you don't keep them all disassembled, they just walk off and kill everybody! It's true! That's why I store them all in bits and pieces! Here's my 1911:

Uh huh, so you take 'em apart,....then NO IDEA how to put them back together.
I just put stickers over the scratches. And no idiot scratch.

And no idiot scratch.
Coincidentally, I do have what looks like an idiot scratch on the Micro 9, but that one's from taking the extremely sharp and pointy tips on the trigger off with a file stroke or two... and touching the frame with the file.
