My latest acquisition for my WWI collection - an Italian Model 1889 Bodeo revolver

This funky thing was made as part of the first production run in 1890 by Brescia, and saw a refurb after at least one of the world wars.

Picked it up at gunshow a few weeks ago with an original WWII era holster! Time to load up some ammo for it and get to the range.

Here is grandpa’s 1911 and 22lr conversion kit.
can’t believe I used to crawl thru brush tunnels created by feral hogs just south of Cotula , TX With this and pop them in the head.

How's that NAA .22? Those things look so tiny that they would be difficult to shoot well.
With real grips (not the bird style) they do pretty good. Decent @ 7 yds, takes time to recock though.

Just finished these up. I've got about $700 into the legion clone. Never really wanted one but I got the slide and decided to get the grip lol.
The pro-cut with the threaded barrel is is more or less a spare parts build.
I have a 3rd full-size in 357SIG that I just need a barrel for. Jagerwerks slide and WC grip module.

I do plan to put factory takedowns levers on both of them, as I'm training to shoot with my thumbs not contacting the gun. Jerry Miculek told me so.
