My wife and I are planning a vacation out to monument valley. I was wondering what the laws are for concealed carry on a Indian reservation? I've done a search or two but couldn't find a straight answer and was wondering of anyone had any experience on the matter?

They cant touch you if your passing through. If your actually going to be on the res. then laws vary based on tribes.

My mother and I are registered native Americans belonging to the Cherokee tribe I wonder if that would have any impact on this situation, I guess I'll just have to give them a ring and ask. Thanks for the info.

I took the same route last year, kinda. I really never gave it a thought. I just kept my guns where I normally keep them. No carry of course but the truck guns stayed where they belong.
