    Welcome to the group. I remember watching a film about the '67 fire on the U.S.S. Forrestal while going through marine firefighting school. Hopefully, you missed that one. Thanks for your service!

    My cousin was also on the Forrestal in the late 60s and retired as a fire fighter in Anniston, Alabama.

    I made two deployments on the Kitty Hawk in the 70s and will retire soon...maybe...
