I am between Houston and Humble off of East Mt Houston Road. My favorite range is my back yard. I live on 5 acres. I just shut and lock my gate when firing. Although I have a Houston address I do not live in the city limits. I have had the police show up twice and we address each other through the locked gate. Both times somebody called the police and they were just responding and doing their job. I am in the county. Nice to meet yall.

Cool! What sort of backstop do you use? Years ago I used a couple-years-old round bale for pistol but at this point hay is too expensive (even real old hay) to use that way. Though of building a dirt berm but joined a gun club instead. Nice people, well thought out ranges, neighbors don't have to listen to me shooting.

I use two rows of railroad ties. I do have neighbors behind me. Gun shots are heard around here on a weekly basis. Its just a normal part of life out here. I farm two acres here and am always hearing gun shots. Most everybody seems responsible in my area with their weapons.

If you are still in Crosby I am very close to you. I am off of Lake Houston ParkWay near Beltway 8. Its a 5 minute ride down the Beltway then I turn left on 90. I go out there all the time.

I do make muscadine wine all the time. Mostly I make apple wine. It gets drank up pretty fast. I make it 18%abv. The muscadine wine I like to keep it around 12%
