Hello from Houston

Hello! I'll start out by saying that I am not a big active user of forums when it comes to guns, but a friend of mine pointed me here and I like what I see. I like hunting, fishing, long walks on the...oh wait, wrong forum.

I haven't been shooting recreationally much over the past few years (too many other hobbies and things going on), but have a decent collection of handguns (revolvers and pistols...hunting and defense) and long arms (mostly hunting shotguns and rifles, but do have a couple Colt ARs). For the record, I'm a big fan of 1911 style pistols, in .45acp of course.

Anyway, I'm here now and enjoying just lurking a bit. Hope you don't mind.
