Hello from SE Texas - New Guy

[TX LR308]

Just found this forum today and joined. Been living in Texas about 7 years now, three south of San Antonio and now in Orange, TX. Absolutely love this state.
I enjoy pistol shooting (used to compete in IDPA), like the old military stuff (Garands, M1A's, M1 Carbines) and have a few AR pattern rifles. Currently trying to reach out for longer shots and will be going to take a class to get me out to 1000+ yards with my DPMS LR308 this weekend.
Seems like a good group of folks from what I've seen so far and look forward to kicking back and being a part.
