Building a lower, for the first time. I have an aero precision stripped lower on hand. I have $120 rebate card on hand. The end-state gun is a general purpose AR that is reliable and fun to shoot.

I carried an M4 with an ACOG, MRDO, and various PEQs for the last six years before I retired. This won’t be a duty gun, but I may shoot it in carbine or 3-gun since I’ve already got the other 2 guns on-hand.

The mission is to get as much quality and as near to finished lower as I can with that $120.

The upper will most likely be a complete BCM mid-length but am open to other suggestions when I get there.

Why? Because I just want to. What say y’all I do with my $120. I’ll let y’all know what I end doing in the end.

Only buy on big sales. Primary arms is always having them. Get a LPK for $50 or less. Get a buffer kit for about the same or less. I got a hogue grip for $15 at the time
