A favorite song of mine, this band isn't from Ireland but might as well be:

Going to show my age a little with this one. Saw these guys in 1988. One of the most fun shows I have ever been too.

After thinking I was German fir decades (where did my brother get this stuff?) I recently found out I am related to Colonel James Reed who was one of the commanders at the Battle of Kings Mountain. That was a decisive victory for the rebels against the British army.

Grandpa Reed and his 7 sons immigrated from Ireland and they all fought in the Revolutionary War. So I’ve gotten more interested in my Irish heritage, including the music.
