Found this for you. Never been a fan of nutnfancy but sometimes he does have some informative videos. Even though most of the time he does feel like more of a salesman.
I did a quick google and noted that the steel in the blade is D2, which is pretty tough stuff. As I've noted on here before, the steel makes the value of the knife.
The late Bob Engnath had this to say: "D-2 offers another air hardening tool steel, but with 12% chrome and excellent, if not superb, wear resistance. .... It's major drawback is the orange peel appearance of the surface when finished to a high gloss. One knife maker is often quoted as saying that D-2 takes a lousy edge and holds it forever."
