Hi Gentlemen,
I'm in Pflugerville, shot a ARC club bullseye for about a year and a half. Then got bored with it, so decided to start (attempt) rifle and long range. Right now I have a savage model 12 VLP DBM in 223 that I have been shooting 90smk's out of out to 500 yards but mostly at 200. Is there anyone here with shoots f-class and nra highpower x-course with the same rifle like an ar? Is it better (and cheaper) to build your own versus buying a bushmaster, white oak etc..etc. that is DCM/CMP legal for competition? In hindsight I should of bought a Ar15 instead of the bolt gun, even though it shoots really well
