Homeowner Kills Robbery Suspect - Houston News Story - KPRC Houston

I'm really amazed at how many home invasions / robberies that has increased over the last few years, with the bad guys getting shot or killed by the home owner... Seems like these idiots would focus on breaking in when people are NOT at home. But, From what I understand, most of the home invasions are Hispanics are going after Hispanic renters. Looking for cash and drugs...

However, Kudos to our Second Amendment and to the homeowner protecting himself.

I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6

Absolutely, I was just sorry to hear that he might have problems in what "appears" to be a righteous shooting.

In most cases it's pretty standard to send a case to the GJ. Anyone that's willing to shoot at another person in defense should be prepared for the ride. If it's justified, enjoy the ride. :texas:

Its standard procedure to refer a shooting to the grand jury. Nothing will happen to the homeowner. Some people just need to be shot.
