WTF? I've got a gallon bag of Hornady .357 cases that are ~1.25". Trim length for a normal .357 is 1.28. I think they were for FTX bullets, but they're pissing me off. I'm kind of fastidious on length - particularly on crimped cartridges so I get a good squeeze on the bullet. I guess I can use the brass, but it kind of bothers me like small primers in .45 ACP.

    Gunz are icky.
    I hear ya Bruh.

Seeing the same thing in Hornady 30-30 and 45-70 brass. It's just real short.
I've been using them in single shot guns so the length isn't super critical.

I guess you could try crimping them with a 38Spl crimp die? Just set it for those cases.
