I just lost power for the second time today. News says 15 min, but my first was an hour. Will see how long this one is.

On the west side of Houston we are getting a 20 minute outage just about every hour. It's really screwing up the computers.

This is the kind of reason I have a battery-powered alarm clock. I've been using it for almost 15 years and it's never loses power, as long as I remember to change the batteries ever few years.

Ours went out twice so far, and then the cable went black one time. KSAT12's website says it might go all night and into tomorrow...Nice timing to do this when its 20 outside. My g/f's work has had it happen twice and its a hair salon so they aren't getting much done today! It'll be an interesting night of work for me if this continues.

Mine was out all night in Waco. I woke up to a shivering dog in a 43 degree apartment. I could see my breath.

I don't know if it's related but my microwave took a crap. It counts down with the light on but doesn't make microwave noises or cook anything anymore.

In San Antonio, we've personally had three outages so far, with two of them being an hour or more. Woke up to the first.
