I've finally decided to pass on this 22 suppressor, originally purchased back in August 2013 (on ATF Form 4), and never got around to using it, so it's still in new condition.
Model is Guardian 22 micro with SS baffles, which appears to be discontinued now.
    info here http://huntertownarms.com/g22micro.php

Asking $200, and all NFA rules apply, located in Dallas county.

So, uh, gotta do a tax stamp, give it to a third party, then eventually get it?
Hi Rhino, as V-Tach had mentioned, no third party is necessary for same state sales. I would just hold onto it until your Form 4 gets approved and stamp comes in the mail to me, then can hand it over or even mail it to you. I'm not sure what the current wait times are but I would bet at least 6 months. I haven't purchased an NFA item in quite a few years.

The eForm4 “should” be quicker. Not sure how it works for an individual to individual as I believe it was set up for dealer to individual/trust transfers.

Ah, I'm not familiar with this route but if it's applicable for this sale then great, I'm all for shorter wait times.

Yes, the model is discontinued. Huntertown is out of business.
Years back, I worked with them on this little project.

Disregard the rifle pic. Not to be a name dropper, but that is Sarah Palin's Weatherby by the way.

On a class 3 sale/resale, don't you still have to fill out a 4473? Asking for a friend...
I believe the stamp application is in lieu of a 4473. I don't recall for sure as my last couple have been on Form 1s.
BTW, that Huntertown Guardian was my first suppressor.

And I'm assuming if one didn't mind spending "more" money, one could then transfer it to a trust afterwards?

    What V-Tach said...

FYI, I have one of these with aluminum baffles. Nice little can. Back when Huntertown was still in business, I worked with them amd Precision Small Arms to create 4" version for the "Baby Browning" .25acp. The smallest suppressed package on the market at the time.

I have used mine on a Beretta 21A, Walther P-22, Ruger 22/45, CMMG conversion for Glock 19 with good results. For some reason, it did not work well on several 10/22 I tried.
