    I can't say for sure either, but if it is close, pass on the shot. The bad thing is, that deer is a mature deer and that rack will not improve with age. By letting it live it will just keep passing crappy genetics. Like I said, misguided rule at best.

    Totally agree about culling that one. But i still say it looks like he is outside the ears. ;)

    Thanks for the replies folks. Looks like I'll hold off on the shot if it presents.
    But....archery season allows for does and Ive got plenty of those running around.
    And there's a spike thats been visiting that I can take.

    I'm not really picky. I've only taken one before and tbat was last year with the crossbow.
