I got a letter from Uncle Sugar today!

So my stimulus check was in my bank account back on 4/12. Today I got a letter telling me that I was getting the check.

My SS disability check cleared 4/16, I also got a letter today letting me know about that.

I guess the letters are part of some pork, some congressmen's family is making bank on. Hard to imagine what these leters really cost to produce. Damn glad we did have any kids for our grandkids to deal with this added expense!

Th letters are to make sure you actually got the money they sent.

That way if it went to the wrong account you will get a letter and and call and tell them “I didn’t get my payment that you say I got” and eventually they will go back to whichever account they or finally sent it to and take it back, probably putting someone in the negative since they likely said “WHEEEEEE, I GOT EXTRA!” And spent that shit.

Like an idiot we filed our 2019 tax return right before they started mailing checks. I'm sure that's why I've been delayed.

Was able to put my banking info in last week, my bank account will be stimulated next Wednesday.

Capital armory has the suppressor I want in stock so maybe I'll return this money right back in the form of a tax stamp.

We don't pay any Federal taxes and haven't for several years.

The IRS website told us that our check would be mailed the 24th.

It actually arrived the 23rd.

What chaps my hide is I have direct deposit info on file with three different Government agencies. Why could they not have accessed this and just did a direct deposit?
