Standard ATX power supplies output a few very tightly controlled voltages:Speaking of tinkering. I have an old computer tower that needs demolition.
Occasionally you'll see a couch made out of the rear end of a car with a car radio installed somewhere. Or a tool box with the same kind of car radio.
To power a 12v car stereo for those things. They use the power supply out a computer. The output is something like 10-12 volts. Internally cooled, with a fan, power supply.
The rest of the tower is getting thrown away. After I pull the magnets out the hard drive. Plus the metal hard drive disc itself. The disc makes a neat wind chime decoration. Reflects the sun and swings around nicely.
I can’t see that you changed anything. How is this thread still going? I guess I tinkered a little as well. I know my change isn't as dramatic as some of the others but you can only do so much with it. View attachment 156951 View attachment 156952

....and heavy as hell. But they always go bang and factory service is second to none. All kidding aside, I've never shot one, but I hear that they are decent shooters. Just ugly as hell.
Probably has an onboard generator.Looks good. Is that 1 CR123 or 2 AA batteries?
Could be classified having a TOW process for launching the bullet.I bought a flashlight and attached it to my AR.
