I made a big mistake.

Took a ak parts kit over to a guy a few miles away from my shop to get built. I took it to this guy because he said he could get it done in 2 weeks but it would cost me double what my usual ak guy charges. I didn't have a problem with paying more for a shorter wait time.

Here it is 6 months later and no ak. It's been so long that I actually forgot about the damn thing until my wife reminded my about a week ago. Now the guy won't return my phone call and won't return my emails. I have really reached my limit with this.

I just emailed him again saying that I'm coming on Monday and picking up my gun finished or not and if he isn't there or won't answer the door I would be contacting my attorney.

Ok rant over and really don't feel any better.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of this going around in the custom gun community. I have a MAC at a shop in St. Louis getting worked on, it's been there for 9 mo. while I have been getting the run around. I've recently had to turn up the heat on the guy that ownes the shop, and if he doesn't get my gun back to me soon, things are going to get ugly.

Yeah, yeah, mines didn't work, but that was because I built it and it had an out of spec barrel that wouldn't chamber the round it was intended for lol.
