I need cheap scope rings

I’m looking at the leupold high 1” rifleman rings to mount on my ar 6.5 Grendel until payday then I’m buying a Larue.
Leupold states the high rings are 1.124” will that be high enough for a 3-9x40?

The Weaver 6 hole Tactical rings have be mighty good for the money. I’ve put them on several rifles with nothing but good results.

On an AR pattern rifle, the SWFA SALT mounts are a great value.

As for the height, that is a matter of personal preference.
