2x - Takedown and Pivot Pin Detent f/ AR-15

i was putting together a couple of lowers and lost 2 detent pins.

anyone here have a couple they can spare?

I hate when that happens. Small screws, springs, pins. washers, what have ya, always victimizing...

Try Midway USA... they have been about the only place I have seen small parts in stock recently...

Tap the hole, put a set screw in, trim a couple of coils off the spring...

Here is how I solved the detent bounce as I like to put it.

I place the lower in a pillow case and put the detents in while its in the pillow case.
A clear trash bag works well also.

When it goes boing it in the bag somewhere
