still??? Ok, dumb question comming up..... Does that AR shoot the same ammo as my Glock 17 (9mm Lugar) or a rifle round? What capability is missing from a converted pistol compared to a native AR?

Same round,sometimes you will have reliability issues.

I've read tons into the mechtech for my G20. If you put the upper on the lower it is then legally a rifle I believe and cannot be returned back to pistol form(legally that is). They are cool as hell and 10mm out of a carbine would be really sweet to have. I never did it because I wanted to be able to switch back forth. You can of course do that, but apparently the gov doesn't care for that. Basically if you want both the carbine and your G20 you have to find another frame.
