Just got off of a business call and grabbed my cell phone to read a text from my wife, "We have a Sailor Daddy!!!!" I'm not sure that I could be anymore proud of him than I am right now, this has been a journey to say the least. His division completed Battlestations today and was handed their US Navy Sailor cap. Can't wait to see him on Friday at graduation. Well done son, well done!!

P.S. Tell him to eat crackers when the seas get rough.

Congrads I still remember when my division 302 received our navy caps.I still have it and my recruit cap also there wasnt a dry eye in the whole room up for 24 hours and running ten miles plus. (The new battlestations is a lil softer than when I went through it in the winter of 99) but nevertheless his isn't much easier what is he striking for (his rate) ?

The only easy day was yesterday.

Wow have times changed. When I graduated in '89 we were just told we had to be able to walk back from our liberty weekend. Lol

    On topic:
    Tell him congratulations and thanks.
