No prison time. Plea bargained to manslaughter. 7 year sentence, suspended. 5 years probation. 500 hours of community service. The system did OK on that one.

I think back home he would be treated the same. I don't know the judges there now. But the majority of populace there would be on his side, imo.

What about the cops that had to arrest him? They now have to be the "bad guys" for arresting him. Easier for them to find the perp's body in an alley and list the case as "unsolved"....

Fair point. Mine was referring to owning one's choices, rather than hiding brave actions in the shadows...which unintentionally might be an inspiration for others.
