I looked up the FAQ that you referenced. It seems to be the only place that mentions getting a CHL (as a civilian) without waiting 6 months first. I even went into the text of HB 2730 and it still has the 6-month requirement.

Can anyone else comment on this?

Katy, about 10 mins from ASC

I am moving to Katy fom Oklahoma in the next week. I have been watching this forum for a few months to see wht kind of shooters Teas has. So far you seem to be pretty good folks. I look forward to meeting you in the the local gun shops an on the range when I find one.
