They had a fewcases of Monarch 9mm
Plenty of .40 and .45, and some of all the popular revolver/lever gun rounds.
Plenty of deer ammo, but no more .308 or .223
No .22lr, plenty of .22 mag
Plenty of .17HMR

Almost exact same at academy in Conroe 336@ 45.


They don't have very much .45 HPs tho.

I found out they are expecting a truck Mon the 31st but will not put ammo on shelves until Tues morning. They're never sure what they will receive and do not expect prices to increase.

On an aside, very few handguns in the case and all Academys no longer display ARs, you must ask to see one. They will show only one AR at a time, no matter how many customers are waiting to see them.

Couldn't find any 9mm or .223 at several Academy stores in San Antonio over the weekend.

I was told academy gets their shipments early Monday morning (like right now) and it is typically on the shelf after lunch sometime. I'm heading to two of them at 2pm to check it out

I complained to the Conroe guys about same. One AR at a time is current CORPORATE policy and the locals have no say so. Locals didn't like it either.

I assume shipments were made to all stores on Monday but I only addressed the Conroe store since that's who I was talking to.
My best guess is by 2pm they will no longer have .223 but Conroe still had some "expensive" 5.56 on the shelf Saturday night.

Pistol ammo stock almost gone in all calibers. No 9, a few expensive .45 lots of .357 and .38

Plenty of shot shells.

AR parts isle stripped bare except for a few drop in Blackhawk rails and assorted Magpul stuff

12/30 Hurst TX walmart on precinct line rd had a full case of tipped varmint .223 under the counter in the locked cabinet, I bought 6 @ 10.97, AMMO WAS NOT IN DISPLAY CASE so ask an associate if they can check, tell them the website says they have it.

If you look it up on walmart.com you can search store availability (also gives you a date and time of accuracy). Always ask associate to check the locked cabinets, I have found 2 cases of fed .223 in the last 2 weeks doing that in stores that had none in the case.
