Independence Firearms - North of Brenham

Went out to Independence Firearms on Saturday.
Holy crap, this cat ain't lying when he says he has 4000 guns on display.

Didn't buy anything, I work too hard for my money and the pricing didn't seem reasonable to me. Some of the pricing on the ammo looked good, other stuff was higher than Wallyworld or Academy...but that being said all of it was cheaper than Gander and Carter's.

A bit anti-climatic, but glad I went out there.

Alot of the same things you see at the gun show.
It really was like walking into a miniaturized version of GRB or stink a dena.

Holy cow!! Old lady dragged me to Houston for an appointment. On way back, she said, hey there are signs for guns and ammo. Wanna go?
(Did she just ask me that and keep a straight face as if she was seriously asking me a question?)
Obviously I said yes. Got looking on google and figured out it was the ammo to go place. Didn't realize that was here in Texas or had a shop right there.

That damn place is dangerous. Man, they have all kinds of shit. Glad the woman wasn't with me, or I'd have bought a Keltec Sub-2000 (9mm carbine). And I still haven't fired the last 2 guns I've bought (Sig 556 and an Arsenal AK).

Sure had a nice selection and the people seemed pretty nice.

The staff there does seem really friendly and quick to help you find anything you're looking for.

They still don't have their website up and running!!

Yeah that place is shocking. I can't believe all they have for being in the middle of nowhere. Right next door to them is ammo to go and they are best place I've found for buying bulk ammo. Super friendly and smart staff in both places.
